Bettsometer is available in two versions:
BM-1: mechanical bettsometer
Allows for measuring tear resistance of fabric and break strength of sewing. The use of the device is easy and intuitive, so as long as you follow the instructions included in the manual, you will safely test any fabric/sewing within seconds. Quick read-out gives you instant information on fabric/sewing tear-resistance and condition. Test results are visible on sliding scale which has 10g steps (2 kg max).
BM-2: electronic bettsometer
Serves the very same purpose as mechanical, however, it displays readout on an LCD without the necessity to look at the sliding scale (analog) as it was in the case of mechanical bettsometer. So you do not have to “count” scale marks, all you need is to look at the LCD. The device requires 2 AAA batteries (not included).
